League Mission for Coaches: 
Our league has two primary goals when it comes to our coaches. 
#1 Be a Role Model - Coach in a way that promotes respect for the game and those around us, continuous learning and development, and the benefits of working hard toward our goal(s). 
#2 Focus on Fundamentals - By providing a consistent coaching message throughout the league we will all benefit.

Positive Coaching Alliance:  The Positive Coaching Alliance mission is to transform the youth sports culture into a Development Zone® where all youth and high school athletes have a positive, character-building experience.  Get more info at Positive Coaching Alliance 

Little League University On-line Coach Training:  Little League International provides a large number of coach training on-line. Training on proper throwing, batting, and fielding, plus a number of drills and games to keep your practices exciting are available after registering. Sign up for Little League University here.

Heads Up Concussion Safety Training:  At the start of every season all of our coaches must attend our safety training to ensure they are prepared for any possible safety issues that might arise during the season.  Additionally, HEADS UP Concussion in Youth Sports offers free, online courses available to coaches, parents, and others helping to keep athletes safe from concussion.  Get free on-line training here Heads Up TrainingCoaching

MJWS Coach Mentoring:  In order to help our new coaches, we will provide all the assistance and training you'll need.  If you are a new coach and don't have 20 years of experience, it's not a problem... We'll help you get started by providing a practice schedule as well as various drills and games that will be helpful to developing your players while keeping them interested.   All drills and practices will be division appropriate.  To request help from a Coach Mentor email us at [email protected].

Coaching Clinics:  We are always on the lookout for affordable coaching clinics and camps that will help develop our coaches and will inform them of opportunities as they arise. The Montana Baseball Coaches Conference has an annual training in January/February.
