Volunteer Info

MJWSLL is a non-profit organization powered entirely by dedicated volunteers. Serving over 400 children in the community, our league thrives on teamwork and passion. Join this incredible group of people and help create an unforgettable baseball experience!

To volunteer, please register through our portal. MJWSLL requires all managers, coaches, board members, and anyone providing regular service to the league—including volunteers and hired workers with ongoing access to players or teams—to meet the following requirements. The criteria outlined below must be completed annually by all volunteers before they can begin their service.

Background Check: This will be initiated by registering as a volunteer through the portal.
Little League Abuse Awareness Training Course (email certification to [email protected]).
Concussion in Sports (email certification to [email protected]).

All MJWSLL managers and coaches are expected to adhere to the Coaches' Code of Conduct.

Little League Pitching Rules
AAA Rules - American Division

Player can ONLY pitch 1 game per day

If player has caught for 4 innings = can NOT pitch

If player has caught 3 innings + 21 pitches = can NOT catch again (31 for 15-16)

If player pitches 41 pitches = can NOT catch

NO player can pitch 3 days in a row

Day rest = 1 calendar day, not 24 hours
(ex: If a child pitches 32 pitches on Monday, he/she cannot pitch again until Wednesday)

NOTE: Pitch count thresholds are determined by the 1st pitch thrown to a batter
(ex: If an 8 year old hits the 50 pitch limit on the first pitch of a batter, he may finish the batter with as many pitches as needed- AND also only require 2 days rest)

A player cannot reenter as pitcher once removed from pitching (Minors & Majors)

Intermediate (50-70) Division, Junior League, and Senior League only: A pitcher remaining on defense in the game, but moving to a different defensive position, can return as a pitcher anytime in the remainder of the game, but only once per game.
